How often is my investment cost updated on my current year Tax Reports page?

If you haven’t gone over the $50,000 NZD FIF threshold, your investment cost will be updated every time you refresh the tax report page.

Foreign Investment Funds (FIF) rules apply if you’ve gone over the $50,000 NZD FIF threshold at any time during the tax year. If this happens, we’ll show you your estimated peak investment cost and the day you reach it in your Hatch Tax Reports.

Note: In some cases, completed buy and sell orders from the last 24 hours may not be reflected in your investment cost (see how we calculate your investment cost).
