Yes. You receive a dividend payment based on the fraction of the share that you own. 

For example, if you own 10.60 shares of Apple, and it pays a $0.22 USD dividend per share, your Hatch account will be credited with $2.33 USD when that dividend is paid (before tax).

The dividends you receive may be rounded. For example, if you own 0.01 of a share of stock that pays a one cent dividend per share, you won’t receive a dividend for the fraction of a cent.
