If the share price remains below $1 USD for 60 calendar days, you can’t buy any more shares but can still sell shares you already own.

The New York Stock Exchange can delist companies that have shares prices that stay under $1 for some time. They have strict guidelines for those companies listed on their exchanges and prefer less volatile/speculative businesses with strong share prices. If the company gets delisted your shares could become worthless, so it's really important you track your investments closely.
