UPDATE 14 Jan 2020: We no longer need this extra step and are removing the link to this FAQ from the app now. Your money will be in your Hatch account just like a deposit from any other bank.
Co-operative bank does things a little differently than other banks in NZ. When we get a deposit from a Co-operative bank account, we don't receive the information we need to ensure you are depositing money from your own personal account.
We can still accept your deposit!
All it means is we have to send out a letter with a unique code for you to confirm with us before we exchange your deposit into USD and put it in your Hatch account. We'll send it within a day or two of receiving your deposit, or get in touch and we can get it to you in advance.
