Over 18 years old
Living in New Zealand (although if you move, just let us know and you should be able to keep your Hatch account)
Have either a New Zealand Driver Licence or Passport. If you have a foreign passport, you'll need to follow the steps here.
Once you've signed up you'll be prompted to set up two-factor authentication (2FA).
You then can verify your identity in about 3 minutes - and it's all done online. Verification happens automatically in real time, so if you're ready to get started investing and you've completed the steps, you can!
During the verification process, you’ll come across a few questions asking you for personal information about your employment status, annual earnings, how much you expect to invest, and how frequently you expect to invest.
We have to ask these questions to comply with both New Zealand and overseas laws. We won’t ask you for any information that we or our partners don’t need, and we never sell or share your information for marketing purposes.
